george h-w bush is spending his christmas in a houston hospital. this is despite his doctors' hopes last week that he would be released by today. his doctors have not set a discharge date because they want to make sure he continues to build up his energy. been hospitalized for about a month after getting bronchitis. nelson mandela also remains hospitalized today. president is said to be looking much better and is in good spirits. mandela has been in the hospital since december eighth. recovering from a lung infection and the removal of gall stones. south african president wife and family at his bedside today to wish him a merry christmas. ♪ [ female announcer ] no more paper coupons. no more paper lists.
